Purported images of iPhone 5 leak, show bigger display and metal back

Could this be the next new iPhone or the iPhone 5 that Apple is expected to launch later this year? That is hard to tell but we certainly are orgasming on the latest leak related to the God phone. The folks at 9to5mac have received images of what is alleged to be the rear casing as well as the front display of next iPhone and from what we can see it surely hits all the points that have been churning in the rumor mill lately. Read on for details.
The images show the next iPhone to have a larger display but allegedly maintain the same width as the current iPhone. If you recall, the last rumor about the iPhone 5 mentioned a 3.95-inch  640×1136 pixel display that would be longer than the current display and have an extra 176 pixels at the bottom. The rumor also mentioned a smaller dock connector, which is also present in the latest leak.
We can’t say that we are big fans of the dual-tone back but this might have something to do with the fact that the back has a metal plate instead of an all glass body. Also noticeable is the small opening between the camera and the flash, which could be the second noise-cancellation mic. Even the speaker grill has been changed and the 3.5-mm audio jack has been shifted to the bottom. We are not sure why Apple would shift the audio jack to the bottom, considering all generations of iPhone have had it at the top, which in our books is the preferable position.
Everything said and done, this could just be one of the early prototypes and no one can be sure of what the next iPhone would look like till Apple officially announces it or an Apple employee forgets it at a bar!
