Vodafone launches new 3G plans



After Airtel, Idea and Reliance, Vodafone has also updated its postpaid 3G plans in India. Vodafone had earlier announced new prepaid plans last week.

For its postpaid subscribers Vodafone is now offering 300MB for Rs 100 per month and 1GB for Rs 375 and 2GB for Rs 650. Comparatively, Airtel, Idea and Reliance charge Rs 250 for 1GB of data. On the bright side, heavy users might prefer the new Vodafone plans as it offers 5GB for Rs 850 and 10GB for Rs 1250. Airtel on the other hand charges Rs 1500 for 10GB and Idea is offering 6GB of data for Rs 950, followed by throttled speeds for additional usage.
Earlier in the week when Vodafone announced its new 3G plans for  prepaid users, it offered a plethora of options to the consumers, with plans starting as low as Rs 25 for 25MB for a day and going up to Rs 1500 for 10Gb over a month.
Apart from this, Vodafone is also providing double benefits on its post-paid 3G dongles with the old Rs 650 for 1GB plan now offering double the amount of data and so forth for all the other plans including the 3GB and 5GB plans, which now offer 6GB and 10GB respectively at the same rates as before.
